Every pitch is important, but sometimes the stakes are higher than others. Here, the agency already had nearly every global pharma account, but not Pfizer. This concept changed that. It won the pitch, and brought in the fish. I mean the really big fish. Maybe the biggest fish of them all.

The ask for this pitch was about tone. They wanted to get a sense of a TV spot but with no scripts. While these concepts did not move forward, much of the language in them did.
I was brand new to the agency and it was my first pharma pitch. Beginner’s luck. They won the business and 1.5 years later I was still freelancing at the same agency and got to help out on execution concepts for that same piece of business.
